If you’re looking for a classic Maryland summer festival, it doesn’t get much more Maryland than this.

The St. Mary’s County Crab Festival returns to Leonardtown on June 13, 2026, celebrating 40 years of crabs, music, local vendors, and Southern Maryland traditions. Whether you’re coming for steamed crabs, crab cakes, live music, or just a day exploring one of Maryland’s most charming small towns, this festival delivers a little bit of everything.

Held at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds, the festival brings together seafood lovers, local artisans, families, and music fans for one of Southern Maryland’s most popular annual events.

Transportation & Parking

While you’re in town, consider exploring Leonardtown Square, one of the most walkable and historic downtown areas in Southern Maryland.
