SoWeBoFest 2026: The Details

May 2, 2026 By Anthony Washington

Femi The DriFish & The Outta Water eXperience perform at the Sowebo Festival in Baltimore, MD on Sunday, May 26, 2013.

Rounding out Memorial Day weekend in Baltimore, SoWeBoFest takes things back to the neighborhood level on May 24, 2026. Stretching across the 100 and 1000 blocks of Hollins Street, this is a traditional festival and full-on community takeover—live music, local vendors, food, and a crowd that’s there for the neighborhood as much as the lineup. This year’s bill is led by headliners Mojo Collective, To the Moon, Out of Water eXperience, and Chaotic Behavior, with plenty of additional acts filling out the day. It’s the kind of event where you can post up at a stage or just walk the blocks and catch something new every few minutes—laid-back, local, and right in the heart of the city.

ABOUT

Ever since I borrowed a camera from a friend of mine eight years ago, I have loved sharing what I see through the lens of my camera with the world. There is nothing better than making somebody feel like they were right there with you. A brief moment in time, by way of photography, can say so much. I hope that these brief moments in time point people in the direction of someplace, something, or someone that they may not be aware of, and that they are curious enough to go see for themselves.
