This weeks list includes three food and beverage festivals taking place from Laurel to Harve de Grace, MD. But before we get to that, I have a quick announcement. With UN+fest wrapping up the 2018 music festival season this past weekend, there are no major music festival on the festival calendar between now and February. That means that is it for music festival’s on my weekly festival list until Frozen Harbor Music Festival in February 2019. Sigh!

Now, let’s talk food and beverage festivals.

The weather has changed from comfortable to just cold. Two of the festivals occurring this week, Baltimore Whiskey Festival and the Brew & Bourbon Classic could not have come at a better time. Both of these festivals are organized by the folks over at Drink. Eat. Relax.

The Great Harve De Grace Oyster Feast

Sometimes you have to know a good thing when you see it. I’ve never attended the Great Havre de Grace Oyster Feast which will take place this coming Saturday, November 17 from 4pm-9pm at the Harve de Grace Maritime Museum. But like I said, I know a good thing when I see it. The menu for the HDG Oyster Feast will includes all you can eat and drink by Atlantic Caterers. There will be all you can eat Oysters on the Half-Shell * Steamed Oysters * Fried Oysters * Homemade Oyster Stew * Maryland Crab Soup * Old Bay Wings * BBQ Ribs * Pit Beef * Pit Turkey * Country Smoked Ham * Sauerkraut * Kielbasa * Beef BBQ * Salad * Sides * Fresh Fruit * Assorted Cheeses * Veggies & Dip * Desserts * Can Beer * Wine * Soda * and Coffee.

Tickets for the event are $55 and can be purchased the day of the event by phone by calling (410) 939-4800. There is nothing more small town than that. Also, the event helps support multiple community groups. Take the road trip and enjoy yourself.

ABOUT

Ever since I borrowed a camera from a friend of mine eight years ago, I have loved sharing what I see through the lens of my camera with the world. There is nothing better than making somebody feel like they were right there with you. A brief moment in time, by way of photography, can say so much. I hope that these brief moments in time point people in the direction of someplace, something, or someone that they may not be aware of, and that they are curious enough to go see for themselves.
