Clubhouse Festival Will Premiere During Maryland Million Day

October 3, 2018 By Anthony Washington

There’s a new music festival in town and it’s called Clubhouse Festival.

Brought to you by The Stronach Group and Club Glow, the same folks behind the highly successful Moonrise Music Festival, Clubhouse Festival will take place on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Laurel Park in Laurel, MD. The festival will be a part of Maryland Million Day a one-day stakes card offering horse racing purses totaling $1 million dollars.

According to the press release for the festival, the festival is meant to introduce the sport of Thoroughbred horse racing to a new generation of fans. I also think this may serve as a good test run to see if an event of this size can happen at Laurel Park. There has been talk over the past few years of Laurel Park being a possible location for the Preakness Stakes if it was moved out of Baltimore.

Taking the stage during Clubhouse Festival will be deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Tyga, Rich The Kid, Sam Feldt, Lost Kings, BonnieXClyde, and Wifisfuneral.

More details about the festival can be found below. I look forward to seeing you all there.

ABOUT

Ever since I borrowed a camera from a friend of mine eight years ago, I have loved sharing what I see through the lens of my camera with the world. There is nothing better than making somebody feel like they were right there with you. A brief moment in time, by way of photography, can say so much. I hope that these brief moments in time point people in the direction of someplace, something, or someone that they may not be aware of, and that they are curious enough to go see for themselves.
