3 Festivals To Attend The Weekend of June 23rd

June 19, 2017 By Anthony Washington

The Giant National BBQ Battle is one of the food and beverage festivals taking place this coming weekend, June 24 – 25, 2017.

It’s a lite festival weekend before all of the major events that will take place during the 4th of July weekend in the Baltimore/DC metro area. Unfortunately, there are no major music festivals this weekend. However, where there is a festival of any kind there is usually a band to be found somewhere. So check out one of these festivals and enjoy your weekend.

Giant National BBQ Battle

A combination of a food and music festival, the Giant BBQ Battle offers a sampling pavilion, 3 performance stages with 30 bands, a health and wellness stage, and of course a BBQ battle.

ABOUT

Ever since I borrowed a camera from a friend of mine eight years ago, I have loved sharing what I see through the lens of my camera with the world. There is nothing better than making somebody feel like they were right there with you. A brief moment in time, by way of photography, can say so much. I hope that these brief moments in time point people in the direction of someplace, something, or someone that they may not be aware of, and that they are curious enough to go see for themselves.
