Announced: 2017 Summer Spirit Festival Lineup

March 27, 2017 By Anthony Washington

Once again, this years Summer Spirit Festival, presented by CD Enterprises, lineup does not disappoint. Headlined by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Bell Biv Devoe, the festival will also include Fantasia, De La Soul, Common, SWV, The Internet, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Guy/Teddy Riley, Ro James, EU featuring Sugar Bear, En Vogue, DJ Kool, Tish Hyman, Moonchild, Wisdom Speeks, and more to be announced.

In addition to a great lineup, Merriweather Post Pavilion, which has been the yearly home of the festival, just finished going through $55 million dollars worth of renovations. The renovations that took place included updating the concessions, VIP area, box office, seating, the stage, and backstage areas. I know I can’t wait to see the this lineup at this years Summer Spirit Festival in one of the best live music venues in the Baltimore/DC metropolitan area.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 7 at 10am at ticketfly.com or merriweathermusic.com.

ABOUT

Ever since I borrowed a camera from a friend of mine eight years ago, I have loved sharing what I see through the lens of my camera with the world. There is nothing better than making somebody feel like they were right there with you. A brief moment in time, by way of photography, can say so much. I hope that these brief moments in time point people in the direction of someplace, something, or someone that they may not be aware of, and that they are curious enough to go see for themselves.
