Once again, Merriweather Post Pavilion was the host for Summer Spirit Festival 2014 presented by CD Enterprises. This years Summer Spirit Festival was nothing short of excellent. From opening act Roman Gianarthur to headliner Lauryn Hill, festival goers were treated to nine solid music sets. Joining Roman and Ms. Lauryn Hill on the bill were RDGLDGRN, George Tandy, Jr., Meshell Ndegeocello, Backyard Band, Junkyard Band, Raheem Devaughn, Talib Kweli, Janelle Monae, and Ms. Lauryn Hill. The highlight of the festival was Janelle Monae’s set. She stole the show with her energy, showmanship and incredible voice.
