British rockers Bloc Party made a stop at Rams Head Live on Saturday, January 12, 2012 in Baltimore, MD. The band is currently on tour in support of their latest album Four which was released in August of 2012. The album has received positive reviews including a 7 out of 10 from NME.

For those of you who are not familiar, Bloc Party is Kele Okereke (lead vocals and guitar), Russell Lissack (lead guitarist, Gordon Moakes (bass), and Matt Tong (drums). The band was formed in 1999 and they released their first album, Silent Alarm, in 2005.

Besides putting out solid albums, the band puts on a solid rock show. They will be touring the United States until January 23 and then they head to Japan, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, and then back to the UK.

The band also has plans to release their new single ‘Truth’ February 25th. According to the bands website, this will take place “just before the band take the stage at their now sold out biggest headline UK show of their career – the 19,000 capacity Earl’s Court. The single will be a digital-only release featuring remixes by Jerome LOL, A Chat and IO”.

ABOUT

Ever since I borrowed a camera from a friend of mine eight years ago, I have loved sharing what I see through the lens of my camera with the world. There is nothing better than making somebody feel like they were right there with you. A brief moment in time, by way of photography, can say so much. I hope that these brief moments in time point people in the direction of someplace, something, or someone that they may not be aware of, and that they are curious enough to go see for themselves.
