Hiball Events, known for producing and promoting events throughout the United States brought the Blocktoberfest 2012 music festival to the outside grounds of the 1st Mariner Arena. This was the first year that the event was held in Baltimore.

Blocktoberfest’s are known for its multiple stages, food, fun, and drinks. This year, the festival had three stages featuring 8 DJ’s, 6 Bands, and 5 acoustic musicians. Headlining the festival was the alternative rock band Stroke 9. Other notable acts included local favorite Mr. Greengenes, Manufactured Superstars, The Niki Barr Band, DJ Kay Jay, Bad Boy Bill, and Boston punk rock band the Street Dogs.

Featured this week, is the band stage at Blocktoberfest 2012 where the rock show was on in full force. Enjoy the show.

ABOUT

Ever since I borrowed a camera from a friend of mine eight years ago, I have loved sharing what I see through the lens of my camera with the world. There is nothing better than making somebody feel like they were right there with you. A brief moment in time, by way of photography, can say so much. I hope that these brief moments in time point people in the direction of someplace, something, or someone that they may not be aware of, and that they are curious enough to go see for themselves.
