Bon Jovi performs at opening ceremonies of the National Conference on Volunteering and Service in San Francisco, CA on Monday, June 22, 2009. More than 4,000 national and international volunteer and service leaders attended the conference. The conference also served as the launch for United We Serve, a national call to community service from President Obama.
Bon Jovi’s apperance was on behalf of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. The mission of the Entertainment Industry Foundation is to harnesses the collective power of the entertainment industry and channels its unique assets to raise awareness and funds for critical health, educational and social issues in order to make a positive impact in our community and throughout the nation.
